I remember when I first decided to take my health into my own hands. I was overwhelmed—like really overwhelmed. Every time I searched for answers, I found conflicting advice, endless "rules," and a million "must-have" products. Keto. Vegan. Intermittent fasting. Toxin-free everything. Move more, rest more, eat more, eat less... it was too much.

- Drink more water. Most of us walk around dehydrated, and it affects everything: energy, mood, skin, digestion. Aim for half your body weight in ounces daily. This needs to be a conscious effort.
- Prioritize sleep. Your body heals while you sleep. Even one extra hour can make a huge difference in how you feel. ( I know, I know, sometimes, you can't help getting too few hours, I've been there with midnight infant feedings, and potty trips, and now teenagers who want to talk when I'm barely holding my eyes open - BUT there are also times you CAN control how much sleep you get - stop the death scroll early and jump in bed!)

It's important to recognize that these myths don't have to define our experiences as mothers. The truth is, you don't have to live with constant exhaustion, overwhelm, or neglecting your own self-care.
Let's look at 3 mom myths.
Myth 1: It is inevitable that you will be exhausted.
The truth is that while motherhood can be demanding, it doesn't mean that you're destined for constant exhaustion. Check your priorities! It's ok to leave the least important things by the wayside for a season. Obviously, your family is #1! But to take care of your family, you must have energy! And the go-to can't be energy drinks, coffee, or other stimulants which wreak havoc on your adrenals. Prioritize sleep (when you can), fresh whole foods, exercise, and water.
