Music Moms!
Has your child been asking to play the violin? This graceful and noble instrument sounds gorgeous
when played by a master, yet many of us have heard the screeches of a beginner.
There is no need to fear! With the proper training, every student can learn to play!
With ear training, students learn to hear when they are out of tune, so they can adjust.
With good posture, students improve their tone and ability.
With family involvement in the process, students learn and grow so quickly!
Meet your teacher!
Music has always been a part of my life.
My mother taught me to sing at an early age, I started piano at age 5, and violin at age 6.
I performed from the start through the Suzuki program at Illinois Wesleyan University,
as a member of the Bloomington/Normal Youth Symphony from middle school through high school,
and as a member of the BYU Symphony Orchestra. I continue to perform in communities and churches in the Tracy, CA area.
I began teaching in 2000. I have had many students throughout the years, and have grown to love them.
I love giving beginners a good foundation in posture and ear training that enhance their performance as they advance.
Music has greatly enriched my life and I am so excited to share with you the joy it has brought me!
